Thursday June 11th from 5-8pm is the next Art Design & Dine

Its summertime and as they say, “the living is easy”! By the time the June art tour rolls around summer will be in full swing and June’s tour is shaping up to be a good one. Painter and local favorite, Lynn Newman, will be displaying his new work at Clay Paper Scissors Gallery. Flydragon Design Studio will be decked out in the original jewelry designs of AmyKatt.  The website will be updated on a regular basis with more art tour features so check back often and mark your calendars for a night of the arts in Cheyenne!

Dr. T N McCoy, Ted, has always been a supporter of the arts in Cheyenne.  After his retirement he took up painting and has since won many awards and been featured in many show.  Ted has taken every course in Art at LCCC and continues to paint with a group called Advanced Painting at the College. Stop in and meet Ted at Deselms Fine Art. Wyoming Compliments is the name of Lynn Newman's June show at Clay Paper Scissors. There will be an artist's reception on the 11th from 5-8pm. Ross Lindstrom plays and sings a wide range of acoustic folk & blues guitar music . . both original and covers.  He’s a native of Cheyenne and will be playing at the Hynds building for this month's art tour. "Jewelry by AmyKatt was created by Amy Mahaffy in 2009 and features hand-crafted jewelry in styles that include chain mail, crochet, bead-weaving, wire wrapping, Viking knit and metal work.  Amy enjoys experimenting with color and works with a variety of materials from sterling silver and copper to semi-precious stones and crystal and glass beads. " Amy's work will be at the Flydragon Design Studio for the June art tour. Stop in and meet Amy! Nina Skarohlid 19 year old pop singer will be performing at the WYO Art Factory. Enjoy the music while you browse and shop the WYO Art Factory gallery. Oh yes... if you haven't seen the Wonderpull be sure to check it out. You'll love it! Metal smith and found object jeweler, Tracy Clark, will be the featured artist at the Cheyenne Artists Guild. Tracy's jewelry is always a treat to see. You never know what she will use next to create her unique look. Tamara Rodgers is a young and talented artist that will be showing her work at FrameMaster. Tamara enjoys working in black and white and capturing the wide open spaces of the West. Meet her at FrameMaster on the 11th.
